Since meeting with Luke Rathborne and engaging his services as our financial planner, Rita and I have been extremely delighted with the experience.

Personally, I have found Luke to be accessible when we need him, and proactive in approaching me with relevant and valuable ideas.

He makes me feel like I am an important client, and I am continually impressed that he genuinely takes an interest in me and my family’s affairs. He has taken a comprehensive, long term approach to addressing our financial needs and creating and protecting our wealth. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a trusted adviser relationship.

I engaged the services of Luke Rathborne nearly nine years ago. Most of all, I love the passion that Luke has for what he does. I also appreciate being able to speak to a fellow Chartered Accountant and business owner regarding business issues, financial markets and my personal financial affairs. Luke is extremely accessible and responsive to all my queries. He provides me with a clear path and common sense approach to growing both my wealth and passive income.

The way that this relationship works for us is that we have now a trusted advisor that not only just answers our questions but provides us with a number of options that allow us to make an informed decision (choosing the right amount of risk that we are comfortable with, while at the same time maximising our returns).

Luke and Huw are our sounding board to help us identify the best path to achieve our ever-evolving goals.

We’ve appreciated all your support for our business since we commenced operations. You’ve been a great sounding board on many aspects of our business during both the setup stage and in our early stages of growth. Also, a special thank you for sorting out our personal superannuation requirements and insurances, as well as those of our staff and contractors.

Your guidance and expertise gives us the confidence that we are on the right path and allows us to have an all-important sounding board as our family make some key decisions for our future together. You also have a clever knack of making us not feel like we’re doing anything wrong!

I am extremely time poor between work and raising a young family. Too often my personal finances get left behind. I appreciate having Luke to organise my affairs and provide options for my finances. Importantly I can trust Luke and have confidence that he is sourcing all of the available solutions.

Luke has totally organised my financial affairs, presents to me relevant ideas without me having to do the legwork, and enables me to make smart decisions around my finances. He keeps things simple, looks over all my structures and makes sure all bases are covered and nothing is missed (E.g. maximising franking credits, taking up relevant available concessions, focussing on growing income streams from my investments). I recognise in Luke someone ambitious to build a strong business to support his own family. Importantly this is compatible with my own ambitions.

My wife and I found Luke after an exhaustive search to find the right financial advisor to partner with. Being chartered accountants and given I work in the financial services industry, we had specific criteria of what we wanted from an advisor.

Firstly we wanted an independent advisor, independent of the large financial institutions that just sell you their products. Another key distinction is Luke’s fee for service model, providing us with independent advice and not collecting commissions or percentage based fees on our investment assets.

Thirdly, we wanted to ensure we had a knowledgeable and well accredited person managing our financial affairs. Luke showed us he has extensive knowledge on all aspects of wealth management and financial advice, with strong experience in the equities market.

What finally has impressed us most was Luke’s energy and passion in servicing us. We have total comfort that our financial affairs are in order. This peace of mind is priceless to our family.
We have no hesitation in recommending Luke.
